Make A Difference

Jesus tells us in the book of Matthew: "Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these... you did it to me."

We at Epiphany take this call to be the servant hands of God very seriously. We are always seeking new opportunities to serve. Contact the church office if you are interested in more information on any of these volunteer opportunities.

Feed Your Neighbor Food Pantry

Through hosting the Feed Your Neighbor food pantry, Epiphany is blessed to be able to provide food for hundreds of needy families in our community every month. In recent years we've expanded our services to also provide books free of charge, as well as community resources and devotionals.

The food pantry is one of a very few in-person ministries that Epiphany has maintained throughout the COVID 19 pandemic. Here’s a video we made at the beginning of the pandemic that gives you an inside look at our Feed Your Neighbor ministry.

The Epiphany Quilters

The Epiphany Quilters meet weekly on Fridays to tie quilts for Lutheran World Relief. They also make "cloth sandwiches" for the Sparrow's Nest, a local women's shelter, and the Linus Project, which provides blankets to children in foster care.

Hawkins School Teacher Pantry

Epiphany partners with Hawkins Elementary School to help offset the out-of-pocket cost many teachers face when supplying their classrooms. We host a school supply drive every fall to restock the teacher supply pantry, which is open for teachers' use throughout the year.

Thanksgiving Baskets

Epiphany members come together every fall to donate Thanksgiving meals and assemble them into boxes to be given to dozens of families in the area who are unable to provide a Thanksgiving meal for themselves.

Stephen Ministry

Stephen Ministry is the one-to-one lay caring ministry that takes place in congregations that use the Stephen Series system. Through this ministry, we are able to equip and empower lay caregivers — called Stephen Ministers — to provide high-quality, confidential, Christ-centered care to people who are hurting.

Outreach Committee

The Epiphany Outreach Committee's mission is to extend our Christian love into our community and our world. Outreach helps to organize all the programs on this page, as well as many more. And they're always looking for new volunteers.
